§ 8-104. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Private pool means a pool not open to the public, not publicly owned or not otherwise regulated by the state, either by statute or by rules and regulations of one of its administrative bodies.

    Swimming pool means any artificially constructed, nonportable pool capable of being used for swimming or bathing, having a depth of two feet or more at any point.
