§ 24-23. Operation of motor vehicles.

  • No person shall drive or operate a motor vehicle in any area or place other than the public streets and roadways or other such areas so designated for vehicular travel, and such vehicles shall not be driven in excess of posted speed limit, and no person shall park a motor vehicle except in areas so designated and during hours so designated. No person shall operate an off-the-road vehicle such as a minibike, snowmobile, motorcycle, dune buggy or other motorized device, except on designated roads, fields or areas posted for such use. Vehicles in violation may be impounded on direction of a police officer, attendant or other person having supervision over the operation or use of any park, playground, pond or other public place.
